Villa Terrace

2220 North Terrace Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53202

Wedding photos taken at Villa Terrace

Villa Terrace was built in 1923 by architect David Adler in the style of the Italian Renaissance. We had beautiful weather for our ceremony on the back patio, which overlooks the gorgeous flower garden and Lake Michigan. Villa Terrace is also a decorative arts museum, featuring textile samplers and wrought-iron displays.

Pier Wisconsin

Pier Wisconsin is a mere two miles from Villa Terrace, but a world away in terms of style. We had our reception in the Pilot House, which features a 360-degree, floor-to-ceiling view of Lake Michigan, the S/V Denis Sullivan, the breathtaking Milwaukee Art Museum (well, breathtaking on the outside) designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava, and downtown Milwaukee. Pier Wisconsin is home to Discovery World, a super-fun children’s science museum.

Fun fact! Yvonne interned at Discovery World in college, back when they were in the public museum complex farther inland.
